9-meter class "Angödomen" We have recently started on the restoration of the classic yacht "Angödomen". This originally Swedish yacht dates from l907 and was designed by H.Öhnell as an international 9-meter racer. THE RESTORATION INCLUDES: 1. Replacing the stem and the mast foundation; 2. Repair of the existing rudder construction and stem post; 3. Constructing and fitting a bowsprit, including the necessary changes to the mast, which will allow the ship to be cutter rigged again; 4. Fitting the planking under the waterline with splines; 5. Replacing the old Albin petrol engine by a new diesel engine; 6. Replacing the entire electrical system. During the winter of 2000, parts of the interior has been altered and several constructional improvements has been made.
